Hi, I’m Renee, the heart behind Loreaway Travel. I’m a wife, a homeschool mom, and an international travel enthusiast who has spent over two decades exploring the beauty, history, and charm of Europe.

My journey began with family trips—first annual, then biannual—that I meticulously planned from start to finish. These self-guided adventures gave me an intimate understanding of Europe, its diverse cultures, and the best ways to experience the continent’s magic.

As our family’s love for travel grew, so did our confidence. What started as short trips evolved into extended stays and daring road trips across borders, complemented by train rides, ferry crossings, and flights to uncover Europe’s hidden gems. Over the years, friends and family often sought my advice when planning their own European adventures, which planted the seed for turning my passion into a career.

​Homeschooling our youngest child gave us the flexibility to embrace travel as a living classroom. From exploring historical landmarks to experiencing different cultures firsthand, we believe there’s no better way to teach history, geography, and world events than to stand where they happened. My oldest child, who spent much of her youth exploring Europe, chose to attend university there and has called Europe home since 2017.

​As our family dynamic evolves and we look toward empty-nesthood, my travel style has expanded to include land tours and river cruises. Yet, my love for also helping families plan unforgettable European adventures remains strong.
